英文爆難，咦 見到Ericy~怎麼變得相對沒那麼難呢

我想最美的相遇，就是在這裡找到，適合自己的老師，一開始尋找的時候，老實說，不是很順利，直到遇到Ericy,奇蹟般的陪著我把英文一步一步，學起來，我目前是重考114學測生,在還沒跟Ericy學英文的時候，我是連一句翻譯都寫不好的學生，甚至寫不出來
像是I am a girl.這樣的句子，對我來說都很難
而現在的我，可以去用英文表達我所要表達的
例如 寂寞很喧囂
耳朵，失聰了
突然，寂靜
耳朵，聽見了
那一時的寂靜
耳朵，害怕了
喧囂，又開始
耳朵，安心的繼續失聰了，
Loneliness roars,
The ears fall mute
.
Silence whispers,
The ears awake.

In that fleeting hush,
The ears tremble.

Noise swells again,
The ears retreat.

我不知道為什麼自己可以進步神速
但答案很簡單
就是跟Ericy學
妳也才有辦法
進步的快速，又快樂
為什麼呢？Ericy她厲害的地方就是
她可以很明確的知道學生需要什麼
像是之前我的文法地基不穩
所以我們寫了周攻略（那是一本好書唷，重要的單字文法考題都有，反正包羅萬象）
以及一本文法書
就算現在學測考文法不多
但是如果沒有文法的奠基
妳看閱讀會慢
寫翻譯，會不知道怎麼去翻
一但妳具備了一定的文法基礎
那你就會發現喔喔，這句話是S+V+O
動詞是什麼 他的語態 又是 怎麼變化
要用現在式 還是完成式？
如果妳學起來了
那會變得比較輕鬆一點點
除了上學測的讀寫，解題，閱讀 etc
我還會跟Ericy學習英文口說
其實，除了學習寫的部分
口說會讓妳的英文up up唷~~
她們是需要搭配在一起的
由於我有上口說~語感的部分，加強很多
如果要問這半年學到了什麼
我只能說學到怎麼寫英文作文，怎麼背單字，文法，架構....太多了（寫不完）
但濃縮一句話就是：妳懂得如何應用英文了
一直覺得自己是很幸運的
Ericy 就像是個寶石🌹

學生們，往他們要走的路，巧妙推了一把
想要分享我的故事
因為她 真 的 很 棒（個性有趣，“溫柔”，可愛....太多寫不完）
就是一種恨不得所有人都來上她的課
我也會持續學下去
相信自己114學測會考到15級分
那時候我會把所有我學到的
拍影片給Ericy，這是我最大的禮物了

英文就是要這樣學阿

The most beautiful encounter is finding the right teacher here. Honestly, it wasn’t smooth at first when I was searching, but then I miraculously met Ericy, who accompanied me step by step in learning English. I’m currently retaking the 2024 exam, and before studying with Ericy, I was a student who couldn’t even write a simple translation, not even a sentence like "I am a girl." That was difficult for me. But now, I can express myself in English.

For example:

Loneliness roars,
The ears fall mute.

The ears awake.

In that fleeting hush,
The ears tremble.

The ears retreat.

I don’t know why I’ve improved so quickly, but the answer is simple: it's because of studying with Ericy. You can progress rapidly and joyfully because Ericy is truly amazing at understanding exactly what her students need. For instance, my grammar foundation was shaky, so we worked through a comprehensive book called 周攻略, which covers important vocabulary, grammar, and questions—essentially everything. We also used a grammar book, because even though grammar isn’t heavily tested on the exam anymore, without a solid grammar foundation, you’ll read slowly and struggle with translations.

Once you have a certain level of grammar knowledge, you’ll start to notice, "Oh, this sentence is S+V+O." You’ll understand the verb, its tense, and how it changes. Should it be in the present tense or perfect tense? When you grasp these concepts, everything becomes a bit easier. In addition to learning reading, writing, and problem-solving for the exam, I also practice English speaking with Ericy. Besides writing, speaking practice can really boost your English level. They complement each other. Since I’ve been practicing speaking, my sense of the language has improved a lot.

If I had to sum up what I’ve learned in the past six months, I’d say I’ve learned how to write essays, memorize vocabulary, understand grammar, structure… there’s just too much to list. But in short, you learn how to apply English effectively.

I feel very fortunate. Ericy is like a gem that shines brightly and gently nudges her students towards their path. I wanted to share my story because she is truly amazing (fun personality, “gentle,” cute… there’s too much to describe). It’s the kind of feeling where I wish everyone could take her classes. I’ll keep learning and believe that I’ll score 15 on the 2024 exam. When that time comes, I’ll make a video of everything I’ve learned and give it to Ericy—that will be my biggest gift to her, haha. That’s how you should learn English—study with Ericy!
